The Frontenac Amateur Radio Club

WELCOME

The Frontenac Amateur Radio Club is a group of Amateur (Ham) Radio operators in the Frontenac County – City of Kingston region with an interest in QRP (low-power) portable operating and antenna experimentation.  The club is very active with Parks on the Air (POTA), Island, and Lighthouse activations.  We also take part in both Summer and Winter Field Days.

The club holds the Amateur Radio callsign VE3UCC.  Membership is free and open to anyone in the Frontenac County – City of Kingston region with an interest in low power Amateur Radio.

Our monthly dinner meetings are on hold due to Covid19

We have an online discussion group on Groups.IO called Upper Canada QRP Club at: https://groups.io/g/VE3UCC

The Club holds a weekly informal HF net on 3.751, and a C4FM 2m Net on the VE3FRG Repeater, 146.850 (-). Please feel free to join us.
